ONC - Course 4: Oncology Nutrition & Diet Design

The final 10-week course details the role of researched phytonutrients, vitamins and micronutrients and their role in cancer therapy. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind plant families, amino acids and lipids, and their roles in causing cancer, preventing cancer, and managing it. A deep dive into therapeutic diet design, including the ketogenic diet, Paleo, autoimmune, GAPS and other therapeutic diets will be discussed under the premise of bio-individualizing therapeutic nutrition to meet the ever-changing needs and side effects clients may experience.
