This course explores over a dozen different types of cancer, their risk factors, current frontline treatment options, associated systems-based nutrition considerations, and dietary related research findings. Western medicine treatments and research focus heavily on types of cancer and their location in order to formulate treatment plans and drug development. Integrative Nutrition follows suit, utilizing the research of specific nutrients and dietary therapies to target specific cancer types and enhance conventional treatments.
